Hi! My name is Stephanie Sacco, and I am a University Innovation Fellow which is super exciting! I grew up in a small town: New Fairfield, Connecticut. I am currently attending Hartwick College as a Political Science and Business Administration double major. I am passionate in involving innovation in our military. In order to find success in this endeavor, I have immersed myself in a number of extracurricular activities, such as Student Athlete Advisory Committee and DECA, which will provide me with the skills necessary to lead and catalyze positive change. By focusing on ways to be more efficient on building equipment, and reducing waste there are solutions to great problems. This type of change is the responsibility of innovators and great thinkers and I am seeking the background I need to become those things!

In order to find success in this endeavor, I have immersed myself in a number of extracurricular activities, such as Student Athlete Advisory Committee and DECA, which will provide me with the skills necessary to lead and catalyze positive change. I am currently the lead of bringing a Makerspace to Hartwick College. Through my UIF training, I have been given the skills to build and create such a new large space at my school.&nbsp;By focusing on ways to be more efficient on building equipment, and reducing waste there are solutions to great problems. This type of change is the responsibility of innovators and great thinkers and I am seeking the background I need to become those things!
