My name is Sherly I am a first generation college student. I was born and raised in Manhattan, Washington Heights. The home of the hustle as most people say. For those of you who don't know where or what The Heights is it's a community filled with hispanics and our beautiful culture. With the sound of laughing and chattering in every block, with music playing in the background and the old men playing dominos. That's the life of the heights free spirited and a community that supports one another. I am a Dominican women who prides herself in her roots and where I come from. I move with passion, grace, patience and love because I was taught that, that is what's most important. With that I believe that being my most authentic self is truly me being the best version of myself, and that's because of the environment I was blessed to grow up in.
