In his efforts, Ronald hopes to assist students in developing a community that not only expects great things from them but one that also supply's the necessary support thus actively helping students rise above their current circumstances. Ronald and his family have often struggled financially and in fact  experienced a brief period of homelessness. However, a program formally know as Bridges to a Brighter nurtured this young mans potential and realigned his focus. Bridges connected Ronald with the resources to assist him academically, furthermore providing the academic support to ensure him the opportunity of attending college. "I recognize that several other students continue to endure similar if not harsher conditions which is why I live to assist the young and disadvantaged population. This is why I serve".
