==Bio==
Manato Iizuka is a third-year student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, School of Engineering, Tohoku University. He was born and raised in Gunma, Japan. In high school, he was a member of the soft tennis club and worked hard in club activities while studying hard to achieve his goal of entering Tohoku University. He then entered Tohoku University in 2020, and strives every day to be the active person he has always wanted to be, but also to be someone who is loved and respected by others. Manato's strong point is to give his all in everything he does. For this reason, in her university life, Manato has maintained the top rank in her own department in academics, while continuing to increase his skills by participating in various activities. His curiosity and his love of expanding her community and learning about a wide range of values also make him even more active.

If Manato felt that he was not good at presentations, he took a course to overcome it, and if he felt that he was not good at facilitation, he took a course to overcome it. He has also studied business and international issues so that he can live freely in today's uncertain future and leave proof of his life in the world. In addition, I participated in the GLEC speech contest as an opportunity to test my presentation skills and to communicate my ideas to the world, and I won a prize. The theme of the contest was a safe and sustainable global recovery strategy after a pandemic, and at the conference, I debated about carbon tax. As a result, he is highly interested in and knowledgeable about energy issues.

Manato is currently a member of the student council, which holds regular discussions with the university president to improve university life, and is also a member of Cromen, which organizes events aimed at bringing students in northern Japan together to discover new values and brush up on their future mission, vision, and values. He is a tutor whose main role is to coach students. He also practices daily as a fashion model and dancer and performs on stage in order to excel at public appearances. He also occasionally gets out in nature and enjoys interacting with adults through fishing, farming, and forest maintenance. Thus, Manato's friendly personality and curiosity play an active role in her life. Manato is excited to use the experience and skills he has gained to help others grow in the same way that those around him have inspired and helped him grow.
