<div>Gianni Martinelli is a 19-year-old Uruguayan student who lives in Punta del Este.</div><div>He is in his second year of Business Administration at the Catholic University of Uruguay.</div><div><br/></div><div>By the time he was 15, he already knew he wanted to become an entrepreneur, that is why he has dedicated most of his young years to business related activities.</div><div><br/></div><div>During his teenage years, he worked at summer in order to gain experience and use it in the future.</div><div>He describes himself as an opportunity seeker, and as one, at the age of 17 he started his first toy importing business with two of his friends. That was his first approach to the business planning and importation process.</div><div>While still at high school, he assisted numerous courses such as Negotiation and Recruiting.</div><div><br/></div><div>As a freshman in college, he co-founded the Entrepreneur’s Club, a (first of it's kind in Uruguay) club with the porpouse of creating a community that allows students to develop their entrepreneurial skills and a space of collaboration and learning as a way of growing the entrepreneurial culture of Uruguay.</div><div><br/></div><div>That year he also participated in LOOP: a week-long innovation event, where he learned about UIF and got the chance to meet some of the Fellows who would later introduce him to UIF.</div><div><br/></div><div>During his second year of college, he took part at the organization of the 2019 edition of LOOP and helped facilitate the Bootcamp.</div><div><br/></div><div>In his free time Gianni likes to practice sports and study languages.
