==Bio==
Georgia is a University Innovation Fellow and a third-year Biomedical Engineering student studying at the [[https://universityinnovation.org/wiki/School:University_of_Technology_Sydney]]. She aspires to make healthcare more accessible to remote and disadvantaged communities.
Georgia believes that medical equipment should be easy to use and available everyone. She is currently involved at University through volunteer work and academia and is also passionate about solving cancer through her work in industry.

Georgia is passionate about giving back to the community with her knowledge of engineering skills through Women in Engineering, Girls' Programming Network and Engineers Without Borders (EWB). She is enthusiastic about providing young girls with the skills of coding and teamwork by accelerating their passion for engineering by leading workshops at primary and high schools through the UTS Women in Engineering Program. She similarly teaches young girls outside of University at the Girl's Programming Network during school holidays to help teach them how to code python in a fun and interactive way.

Last year, Georgia was elected as the Vice President of the Engineers Without Borders Society for the UTS Chapter and led Regioneering which is a 5-day camp where engineering students volunteer their time and teach engineering modules to students in disadvantaged areas in New South Wales. Her passion to help others learn about engineering and give back to the community is in pursuit to increase engineering resources and opportunities for students in schools.

She also has a passion for solving cancer through innovation and artificial intelligence. Georgia started her cancer research as a Research Affiliate at the University of Sydney and assisted in publishing an article on [https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/17434440.2019.1610387]. More recently, she has been working at EnGeneIC which is a cancer therapeutic company as a Quality Control Scientist in pursuit to provide a more potent and less toxic way of treating cancer. Her goals are to detect cancer earlier and to innovate new ways to treat cancer by using artificial intelligence.

Georgia is a passionate biomedical engineering student aims to inspire young women to get involved within the community and challenge the status quo.
