==Bio==
Courtney Wessels is a senior studying Industrial Engineering at Louisiana Tech University, expected to graduate in May of 2021. She recently interned at General Electric as a Quality Engineering Intern developing and updating Standard Work Instructions by evaluating the process and determining the most efficient methods. Courtney previously interned at Lamb Weston in the Engineering Department where she worked on a Weight Efficiency Audit project to save the plant $1,000,000 annually.

Courtney is very involved at Louisiana Tech through holding leadership positions in the Student Government Association, Engineering and Science Association, Society of Women Engineers, and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering. She is also a participating member of the Alpha Pi Mu Honor Society, Student Advancement Team, Sigma Kappa Sorority, Louisiana Tech Wakeboard Team, and the Greek Women in STEM organization. Through the Engineering and Science Association, she also holds a national position in the National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC) where she is the Southeast Region Ambassador. As the Southeast RA, she serve as the liaison between the Engineering Student Councils in the Southeast Region and the Executive Leadership Team.

For three years of college, Courtney has been employed through the university as a student recruiter to tour and recruit prospect students and work on- and off-campus events for the Office of Admissions. She also works for the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies in the Undergraduate Studies Office where she organizes meetings, facilitate and plans special events, and processes student records.

Courtney enjoys traveling around the country, cooking for her friends and family, and spending time in the sun. She loves taking on any opportunities or problems presented to her.
