-Hello everyone! My name is Adrian Manchado, and I am a Computer Science major at the Milwaukee School Of Engineering (MSOE). I am super excited to be an University Innovation Fellow and share my journey.

-I grew up in the suburbs of Madrid, Spain, in a small town, Cubas de la Sagra. I had an incredible childhood in a humble family, where I  I was able to play competitive soccer while keeping a high academic rigor. Since I was young I had a passion for problem solving and critical thinking, attending several regional Mathematics Competitions. As I was growing up I developed several businesses and had a variety of jobs, to help my family financially. For example, during COVID I created a "manufacture" of plastic masks that were exported all over my region, as well I was a sales manager for flamenco shows and a set up a Network of Christmas Treats, where we brought sweets for over 200 families.

Since I was young, I was amazed by the American Dream and how much innovation and hard work happens in this country. I first attended a small college, Cardinal Stritch University that shut down at the end of my first year. I had to adapt quickly and find a new place in a matter of 3 months. After contacting with more than 200 universities, I decided to continue my dream at MSOE.
