Yumiliang:

Chalisa is a Cinema and Television Arts major at California State University, Fullerton. Her passions are in storytelling in motion pictures as well as in public [[File:Screen Shot 2017-09-13 at 10.39.24 PM.png|thumb]]speaking. Chalisa comes from a family of entrepreneurs, so that mentality is engrained into her head. Chalisa’s goal is to inspire the youth to believe in themselves and take action.

She currently started a clothing brand called Passion Creates using her values to create a public motivation. Chalisa is apart of two clubs on campus and is on the executive board for both. One is an entrepreneurship fraternity and the other one is called the Student Innovative Collective where her and her team promote social change through design, much similar to what is done at UIF.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

For fun,<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Chalisa enjoys being very active and exploring the world. She has a Youtube channel that is shared with her three friends who all go to different colleges. The Youtube channel is used to keep in touch and up to date on each others lives. Chalisa finds most joy in creating new relations and learning about other people.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

She also understands that the educational system can sometimes be limiting, which is why she takes on extra units at school in order to learn interesting hobbies such as glass blowing, ceramics, story structure, and even film. </div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: -apple-system-font; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; line-height: 16px;"><br/></div><div style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: -apple-system-font; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; line-height: 16px;">Yumi was born and grew up in a small town called Tinaquillo in Venezuela where she first encountered a clash of Chinese and Spanish cultures that inspired her to learn about different cultures. When she came to the United States in her early teen years, she began her journey in marketing through the use of the Adobe suite during middle school by making class posters and became quickly adapt to it. At the same time, she never had the luxury of her own library so instead began reading all her father's business and marketing books in substitute to not having her own ultimately reinforcing her goals to enter a business setting. Doing so, Yumi Liang had developed an interest in Moore's Law and how it is affecting everything from the way goods are purchased online through e-commerce, as well as for problems that she is most passionate about such as climate change. While[[File:Yumi LIang.jpeg|thumb]] pursuing her degree, Yumi partakes in many organizations on campus such as American Marketing Association, Sigma Upsilon Mu (Business Fraternity), Future Business Leaders of America (where she recently held the presidency), and now Student Innovation Collective (where she holds her a current presidency). She began traveling at a very young age that ultimately allows her to build her strength of being highly adaptable in any environment. When she came to the United States in her early teen years, she began her journey in marketing through the use of the Adobe suite during middle school by making class posters and became quickly adapt to it. At the same time, she never had the luxury of her own library so instead began reading all her father's business and marketing books in substitute to not having her own ultimately reinforcing her goals to enter a business setting. Doing so, Yumi Liang had developed an interest in Moore's Law and how it is affecting everything from the way goods are purchased online through e-commerce, as well as for problems that she is most passionate about such as climate change.
