 The University of Cincinnati (UC or Cincinnati) is a public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This innovation passport would encourage students to explore a program that is outside of their own major. We think that this would be incredibly beneficial as students don't have the time to explore their interests outside of their own majors. We know that students want to learn about all these different opportunities and resources on campus so having an incentivized roadmap to help them get there would be the extra push that is needed. This would also be incredibly beneficial to show a diverse and well-rounded portfolio when students are out looking for outside jobs.

== Encouraging Faculty Innovation and Entrepreneurship ==
 Students are not the only focus of promoting innovation on campus; the university actively encourages faculty members to pursue innovation. As a Research 1 university, the University of Cincinnati takes great pride in its innovative, curious, and creative faculty. UC offers grant writing services to researchers in order to promote entrepreneurial and innovative research, and the university also has positions for entrepreneurs in residence and an endowed chair in entrepreneurship. 

== Actively Supporting the University Technology Transfer Function ==
 UC has strong technology transfer resources that help innovators take their ideas from theory to the real world. The Technology Transfer program in the Office of Innovation supports entrepreneurs by providing resources for every step of development, and the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic helps connect ideas to the surrounding community at large.
