This marks my 24th year as a STEM educator; my primary focus has been in Physical, Chemical and Life Science.  My teaching experience has ranged from Middle, Secondary and Higher Education.  I am currently a full time Science Instructor at Lawson State Community College, an HBCU in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a Doctoral Student at Tennessee State University focusing on Educational Leadership in Higher Education.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Alabama A &amp;amp; M University, a Master’s Degree in Biology Education from Alabama State University and an Educational Leadership Certification from Samford University.  Additional certification includes the following:  E-Learning Certified Instructor, AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science and Technology Initiative) Certified, Advanced Placement Certified in Biology, ACCESS Distant Learning Certified, National Board-Certified Teacher in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Science and a National Trainer for Education Research and Dissemination Certification (TEACH).&lt;br /&gt;

Outside of spending time with my family, I enjoy reading, yoga (exercise), traveling, gardening and making jewelry. I love this idea! Sounds like a ton of fun. I would need to work around the challenge of not knowing too many students at my school yet.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I love this idea and think its a great way to expose students to new ideas and challenges without the hassle of a going through a bunch of hurdles to implement.  This process seems rather easy and exciting at the same time.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
