My name is Talia Thomas, I am a junior, Mechanical Engineering Student at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. I am extremely interested in renewable energy integration, sustainable architecture, and water-purification applications in the developing world. Along with pursuing a Ph.D. in sustainable developments and renewable energy systems, I hope to remain an active and positive force in my community and to do my part in making this world a little better for those who come after me. My hobbies include traveling the world, hiking, and serving my community.

It is a non-profit organization founded in 2006. Since then, Cleantech Open has worked with over 1,300 early-stage cleantech entrepreneurs by helping them to develop their business models, engage investors and secure first customers.

Finalist teams from across the country then move on to be showcased in their annual Global Forum. The Global Forum features a competition among the regional winners where national prizes are awarded.

Finalist teams from across the country then move on to be showcased in their annual Global Forum. The Global Forum features a competition among the regional winners where national prizes are awarded.
