The College is situated in an eco-friendly area of 11.27 acres with thick greenery at Surampalem, Gandepalli Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

The College has two academic Buildings, It has two boys hostels and one girls hostel buildings.

The college proudly offers 9 UG and 8 PG programs in engineering with 15 years of rich standing in the educational era. Besides, the college has added many feathers in its cap which include AA+ Grade by Careers 360, South India 4th rank by Digital Mailers, South India 6th rank by Silicon India, 13th rank out of top 25 engineering colleges by 4Ps, a niche in Asia top 100 colleges by WCRC leaders, Best Placement Award by ASSOCHAM, All India 98th rank-DQ CMR top T-School survey by DATA Quest and 13th position in Top 20 colleges of India by the Sunday Indian. These distinct recognitions speak volumes of the institute’s objective to promote engineering excellence. A playground is part of a college. Mental and physical development is quite necessary for the wholesome development of a personality. Having this in mind our college authorities have chosen a playground ideal in many respects.

The playground is located about a100 meters from our college. So the students have the opportunity of walking to the playground. As all games are played in the evening the students find it pleasant to go to the ground and play.

A good on-campus laboratory is always a top characteristic of the best engineering colleges'''.''' Engineering, like science, is a branch of study that involves a lot of experimenting. In fact, engineers have the most practical and experimental jobs in the world. And their skills always begin while testing their theories in college laboratories .So we provide well equipped and updated lab for the well understanding of the subjects and for the practical knowledge. we have labs for all ug courses for the overall development and for the practical knowledge implementation.

==Library==

*The most selfless thing a library does is shape the minds of a country’s future. It inculcates a habit of reading and researching in young minds which is a forgotten but extremely useful habit in today’s digitized lives. *The college library provides more than 30000 books and contains all the varieties like classics, tragedy, sci-fi, fantasy, action and adventure,mystery,ramance,humor,satire,horror,comics,boigraphies,autobiography,memoirs,cookbooks,true stories, self help etc.

==Classroom==
The Modern School has a well-devised physical education program that supplies its students with the know-how, techniques, physical abilities, standards, and passionate interest to develop a healthy manner of living and carry it into adulthood. The Modern School’s physical education curriculum will give me exposure to physical processes such as aquatics, conditioning activities, exercises using gymnastic equipment as well as individual, dual, and team sporting activities. I would also be delighted to join their martial arts training program that teaches students self-defense.

College Life is one of the most remarkable and lovable times of an individual's life. Unlike School Life, College Life has a different experience, and a person needs to have this experience in his/her life. College Life exposes us to whole new experiences which we always dream of experiencing after our school life. Lucky are those who get the chance to enjoy their college life, as many people don't get this chance due to their circumstances or financial issues. For every person, College Life has a different meaning. While some people spend their college life partying with friends, others become more cautious about their careers and study hard. Whatever the way, every individual enjoys their college life and always wishes to relive that time once it is over.

We become more culturally sensitive because of college fests. Cultural skills help students later in their career when they go out in search of a job. Their soft skills become an added value in getting hired by a company in campus placement or otherwise. There will be occasions where your quick-wittedness and experience will allow you to form a special bond with your counterpart, and I assure you that this will be useful.

This institution was established in 2008, under aegis of Sarojini Educational Society lead by Dr. N. Sesha Reddy. As a proof of recognition of its academic excellence, students from different corners of India covering 12 states/UT (Tamilnadu, Bihar, Jarkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andaman & Nokobar etc.,) and foreign students from Nepal, Afghanistan and 15 African countries, who got attracted and joining the institution.

 

The institution has created an ecosystem for innovation including incubation centre and other initiatives for creation and transfer of knowledge. The English faculty in collaboration with soft skills faculty will conduct soft skills activities under this club. This club will make sure that each and every student acquires good communication and soft skills by organizing activities during weekend. Basing on the feedback and suggestions received from the stakeholders we came up with an proposal to have a common workplace equipped with components, tools that may need in implementing different concepts. This information will be circulated to all the students who are registered to work in this workspace. A Team having an idea/proposal idea cannot be established into a prototype or a start-up because of lack of financial support unless they show some preliminary results. So, students are facing lot of hurdles at the initial stage itself due to lack of funds.

We identified this problem and discussed with the stakeholders and came with a proposal and the same was submitted to the principal & management. As a part of this, the management has formally accepted to provide seed funding. The team with   an idea/proposal will submit the proposal, which will be reviewed by a team of panel members to verify its viability. Upon recommendation of the panel of members the college management provides the funding from the seed amount allotted. Once a prototype is developed the same will be marketed by showcasing it at various Platforms to attract investors. With the help of entrepreneurship cell the interested investors may be invited to support the same and get necessary funding to initiate a start-up and develop the final product.

So we came up with the idea to arrange Pre-professional talks from HRs and Start-Up founders. From these talks, we can directly get to know the company's vision and mission. So we get to know the goals of the companies. Students can also get the motivation to work on their goals.

Talks with start-up founders can help them to know the proper procedure to follow. We can learn from their experiences and motivation to do something new. Opportunities already exist and the country.

It will improve the student's bottom-line knowledge of how human capital affects organizational success. It will guide them to reach their goals efficiently.

Learning is the process where you acquire knowledge. There are many ways to gain it, but few approaches are effective. In our Educational system, Books are the only source we follow. So this knowledge may not sustain long. Learning from the outside surroundings and observing things from Different Perspectives is mandatory.

So we wanted to introduce Study trips which are a popular and well-established method of education.

We need to step out, For innovative thoughts and understanding of our society. Empathizing is one of the most important things we need to include in our day-to-day life to understand things better.

In this study trip, we will hold some activities which concentrate on empathizing, viewing a problem from different perspectives, and understanding our society. Students can also get refreshments from their day-to-day activities with Study Trips. So this may level up their positive mindset and work efficiency. Even Intelligent Quotient and Emotional Quotient levels will improve.

With the help of student volunteers and a few staff members, we wanted to implement this idea.

The buzz word in every campus is communication. For students, communication is a vital life skill. A student must develop his/her communication skills to acquire benefits in all aspects of his/her life. Now-a-days, every opportunity's arrival is completely dependent upon communication skills. To start a business, to acquire a job, to avail education at reputed schools, students must have proficiency in communication skills. Good communication is the heart of this fast-growing world.

We conveyed our idea to students, faculty champions, campus advisors, and some authorities and with some proposal to enhance this. After discussing the pros and cons  the feedback was gathered. Basing on this with some minor changes we have made a clear and simple prototype as a solution for this and the same was approved by campus authorities.

The prototype will be running by setting up '''COMMUNICATION SKILLS Club''' in the campus which will monitored by Principal, HOD. The English faculty in collaboration with soft skills faculty will conduct soft skills activities under this club. This club will make sure that each and every student acquires good communication and soft skills by organizing activities during weekend. This helps to maintain student’s communication standards in long-run vision.

The process of learning doesn’t have any bounds. It is the knowledge that remains after one forgets what he/she learned in schools. Thus, we emphasize on learning concepts with the help visuals and performing activities.

Keeping this in view we are planning for smart classroom learning to be introduced. This smart class room education system makes students get more interest on the lectures and also increase the student participation in a classroom environment.

Through this Smart Learning concept, we want the learners themselves to facilitate an environment in the concepts that will be later bridged by the teachers. The learners activate and build background knowledge, process information, transform their learning into a product (a picture, a mind map or a presentation) that shows what they know, and reflect on their learning. Then the teacher will fill the gaps that remained.

Structured talk and assessment will be made part of the process of learning, which enable to enhance the thinking of all learners by means of inclusivity and differentiation so as to realizes the goals.

Use of technology in education can bring a huge change. Internet and e-learning can make classroom environment extremely amazing. Teaching through computer, internet and multimedia devices will be used as a common tool in future and we want to take a step towards it.

If a student in particular major have an idea and when he start implementing those ideas require support of technologies of other majors. To work collaboratively with peers of other majors they need to have a common space and where they can sit together and have access to different tools and equipment.  

 

When we expressed our issue and plans to overcome the same to the students, faculty champions, campus advisors, and other authorities. Basing on the feedback and suggestions received from the stakeholders we came up with an proposal to have a common workplace equipped with components, tools that may need in implementing different concepts. For this we got the approval from authorities for implementing the same.

 

In implementing the same, we will setup a '''Common Workspace for Implementing Innovative Ideas,''' where a student registers his/her idea. This information will be circulated to all the students who are registered to work in this workspace. Interested students who wants to work on a particular can join the student who has given the idea and start collaborating. The mentor will have an interaction with the interested students and choose a pool of people for each idea as a team who will be working on it. This common workspace provides students to implement their ideas which require support from different majors. As mentors from different majors are going to be available to the student implementing the ideas will be made comfortable. Therefore, this helps successful implementation of innovative ideas

A Team having an idea/proposal idea cannot be established into a prototype or a start-up because of lack of financial support unless they show some preliminary results. So, students are facing lot of hurdles at the initial stage itself due to lack of funds.

We identified this problem and discussed with the stakeholders and came with a proposal and the same was submitted to the principal & management. As a part of this, the management has formally accepted to provide seed funding. The team with   an idea/proposal will submit the proposal, which will be reviewed by a team of panel members to verify its viability. Upon recommendation of the panel of members the college management provides the funding from the seed amount allotted. Once a prototype is developed the same will be marketed by showcasing it at various Platforms to attract investors. With the help of entrepreneurship cell the interested investors may be invited to support the same and get necessary funding to initiate a start-up and develop the final product.
