<p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top:0pt; margin-bottom:0pt">Universitas Terbuka (UT) is the 45th State University in Indonesia that implements an open and distance learning system to all Indonesian citizens including those who lives in remote island through out the country as well as the various part of the world. It has more than 350.000 students. UT was inaugurated on September 4, 1984, based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1984. UT has 4 Faculties, namely Faculty of Economics (FE), Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences (FHISIP), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), ang Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) for Diploma and Bachelor levels. Since 2004, UT has opened a Masters level in the Postgraduate Program and since 2019, UT has opened a Doctoral program. According to a distance education institution in United Kingdom, Universitas Terbuka including the top 10 mega university and has the 3rd rank after the similar university in China and Turkey. Universitas Terbuka is focusing on educating people who for various reasons including lack of funding, rural isolation and full-time employment who do not have time and opportunity to attend face to face higher education. Universitas Terbuka has also been awarded by ICDE (International Council of Distance Education), ISA (International Standard Agency), ISO, and accredited by the national higher standard (BAN-PT).</p><p dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38; text-align: justify; margin-top:0pt; margin-bottom:0pt"></p><div>

As it is known that Universitas Terbuka is different from other universities. Universitas Terbuka aim to provide education for all so that they must cover a wide area even in remote areas. Therefore, UT has branch offices spread throughout Indonesia and even abroad called UPBJJ ( Distance learning program unit). With a large number of students and the online base used, many students lack information about branch offices, study groups, and even platforms to consult about assignments or other challenges. Therefore, we have the idea to create a community platform for all students that has a function as a cross-departmental community platform from various existing UPBJJs (Distance learning program units).

It should also be noted that UT is a high school based on online learning. almost all learning and teaching activities are made through the learning platform created by UT and equipped with teaching materials in the form of BMP which can also be accessed online. Teaching and learning activities at UT for one semester only take 3 months. In one semester there are 8-week sessions in which there are 8 discussion sessions and 3 assignments. To facilitate students in doing discussions and assignments. we have a solution to add a notification feature for discussion and task deadline reminders.

In various lecture sessions, there are also several things that become obstacles for students to understand and practice the subjects they read or study because there are times when discussion topics or assignments are difficult for students to understand so that students do not work on them optimally. Therefore, we have come up with a solution in the form of a tutor corner where students can access information about tutors so they can contact tutors quickly.

As one of the universities with the most students spread all around Indonesia, Universitas Terbuka has a better potential to maximize the ability and the talent of its students by joining competitions. On the other side, having this advantage can't guarantee all the students to improve themselves. Two main problems are found. Firstly students are difficult to find other students who have the same interests because UT does not have platforms to facilitate and this leads to the next problem which is students lack of motivation to join competition. MAPRES 101 is a new platform that we offer to overcome those two problems. Basically, MAPRES 101 is a website that facilitate students to connect to each other and to find outstanding people who they can look up to or they can get inspired by.

==Bio==
Hubertus Ade Resha Raditya Boli is a diploma graduate from Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN (PKN STAN) who works as a government officer in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. He was born on August 2nd, 1996 in Timika, Papua, Indonesia, and presently lives in Jakarta. While working as a civil servant, he is also pursuing his bachelor degrees in Accounting at Universitas Pelita Harapan and English Literature at Universitas Terbuka.

He was born and raised in a circumstance where people still have no access to education, which makes him passionate about the issue. He is the head of the finance division at Bangun Pendidikan Indonesia, an organization that aims to encourage Indonesian youth to pay more attention to educational issues and to actively participate in positive activities that can improve the quality of education. He is also a volunteer in various projects such as youth development projects, social projects, and currently, he is involved in a mental health campaign called Pertemanan Sejiwa. He believes that the aim of being a human is not only stand for himself but also stand for those who can’t stand on their own.

Hubertus is an enthusiastic young man who has curiosity bigger than himself. He loves to learn as he believes that “Life is a learning process”. He’s a dreamer and a high achiever. He believes that nothing is impossible as long as you do what it takes to make it happen and he has proven it. Hubertus enjoys taking up space in leadership, sharing ideas with others, interacting, and building relations with people from different backgrounds. He has joined many committees in his colleges and his office such as Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) Edufair, and BEMCup PKN STAN.

In his spare time, he likes to sing, read books, and travel. He is known for his singing ability as he won many singing competitions and performed on many big stages. He believes that not only are reading books and traveling the best medicine for boredom, but also the best food for a starving mind and soul.

==Bio==
Fabrianne is a Trilingual who able to speak in English, Indonesia and Portuguese. She is a pharmacist technician and a web designer who currently pursuing her degree in Communication Science in Universitas Terbuka (Indonesia Open University). She is an active student who joined several organizations and created innovations in wherever she lives. Fabs or Fabri is how people usually called her, has been lived in three countries alone by herself and made many impacts on her society.

After graduated from high school, she became a nomad who lived in many cities in Indonesia to explore how beautiful the diversity is and she found a lot of education problem in her country that urgently need to fix. In additional of that, she really passionate to make a better life by motivate people how important education is, about how education can change someone's life. She created some social projects as well such as teach Indonesian language to foreigners and mostly for refugee who life in her neighborhood. She also tough English for kids around her home.

Besides of her desire to create a better education, she also an active students who achieve some scholarships and being ambassadors in some organizations. Fabrianne really loves to speak up and fight for what she believes even if it means she will stand alone. She hopes can help to change someone's life by help them in education .

Nur Holifah is my name and you could address me as Nur, as a student and tutor for life I have accomplished big steps in my life meaning that I'm ready for any challenges. I work in English course as my part-time job while striving my dream occupation as an agriculture extension by studying in University not only that I enjoy baking and trying Tiktok new food trend as my favorite pastime.I see all the opportunities as my time to improve myself in doing good deeds for society as well as my skill , that's the reason to live my double life. Therefore, UT has branch offices spread throughout Indonesia and even abroad called UPBJJ ( Distance learning program unit). With a large number of students and the online base used, many students lack information about branch offices, study groups, and even platforms to consult about assignments or other challenges. Ohio State is a very large university and it makes it challenging to not only connect with people outside of our majors but also to navigate the 1,400+ student organizations and several different branch campuses throughout the state. I think this could be very useful and something my cohort has discussed in the past as an issue at Ohio State.

Hey! This innovation council idea was really good. I think this helps students to increase their cross campus interactions. people coming together and discussing about the same ideas will works out for sure , because it's very unique and useful. Every student will have many ideas but some people are lacking in implementing it . If they met any new people with the same idea, Then they will get confidence to continue. So, there will have many chances to share and implement their ideas. Developing an innovation council on campus can attribute to many new developments from the campus. Also with this various majors and disciplines can connect and understand one another. Conducting events and fun activities people will finds it interesting and feels relaxed . Surely it helps to build more connections .This makes people to work unitedly which makes the end product efficient.
