Sindhu Bhonsley is a former student in Computer Science & Engineering in Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science. she is a University Innovation fellow from Fall 2016.She is working as a Operations Executive in a  Edu-Tech Company called The Climber in Bengaluru.She is a part of a passion Revolution helping students across the country to follow their passion and excel in the field which they love.

Sindhu was a delegate for Harvard Project forfor Asian & international affairs held at Harvard University,Boston in February 2018.She is a passionate speaker.She was one of the state finalist in the ICT Academy Youth Talk 2018.She was also awarded with Student Scholarship at the Grace Hopper celebration India 2017 in Bengaluru.

Sindhu is self-possessed and she always supports and encourages her peers to explore their talent.She mentors her juniors and helps them to develop their life skills.She represented UIF in Google Developers Mobile Developer Fest held in Marwadi University,Rajkot.She also organized Design Thinking workshops in her college,GDD India 2017 and also in Deshpande Foundation Hubil.She was a coordinator of SQAC(Student Quality Assurance Cell),Ed-Cell and also for Student Clubs in her college.She helps to communicate problems and feedback between higher authorities and students in her college. She always looks forward to organize various different and thought provoking events, activities.She is a proactive girl always tries make her hands dirty with everything she can.She catches up with everything she love and always tries to connect dots.She thinks creatively to revolutionize her surroundings. She is a staunch believer of the principle “Start should be made somewhere at some time” and would like to be that trailblazer. She always has a desire to improve herself  and her fellows in all aspects to exhibit and explore their talent.

Sindhu Bhonsley is a former student in Computer Science & Engineering in Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science. she is a University Innovation fellow from Fall 2016.She is working as a Operations Executive in a  Edu-Tech Company called The Climber in Bengaluru.She is a part of a passion Revolution helping students across the country to follow their passion and excel in the field which they love.

Sindhu was a delegate for Harvard Project forfor Asian & international affairs held at Harvard University,Boston in February 2018.She is a passionate speaker.She was one of the state finalist in the ICT Academy Youth Talk 2018.She was also awarded with Student Scholarship at the Grace Hopper celebration India 2017 in Bengaluru.

Sindhu is self-possessed and she always supports and encourages her peers to explore their talent.She mentors her juniors and helps them to develop their life skills.She also organized Design Thinking workshops in her college,GDD India 2017 and also in Deshpande Foundation Hubil.She was a coordinator of SQAC(Student Quality Assurance Cell),Ed-Cell and also for Student Clubs in her college.She helps to communicate problems and feedback between higher authorities and students in her college. She always looks forward to organize various different and thought provoking events, activities.She is a proactive girl always tries make her hands dirty with everything she can.She catches up with everything she love and always tries to connect dots.She thinks creatively to revolutionize her surroundings. She is a staunch believer of the principle “Start should be made somewhere at some time” and would like to be that trailblazer. She always has a desire to improve herself  and her fellows in all aspects to exhibit and explore their talent.

Sindhu Bhonsley is a University Innovation Fellow currently pursuing her education as an undergraduate student in the department of Computer Science & Engineering in Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science. She is a passionate speaker, self-possessed and she always supports and encourages her peers to explore their talent. She always motivates her juniors to develop entrepreneurial skills. I&E cell enhances the creative thinking abilities of a student. It aims at bringing out the entrepreneurial skills of a student. In order to make I&E more effective, introduction of a course that focuses on innovation, is essential.

1. First, care should be taken in framing the course and syllabus. It should be a interactive course without putting more burden on the students.

2.  Next, the challenge is to introduce this course to the students of all the disciplines. Preferably in the second year itself, this course should be made as a part of the curriculum. Mr.Chokkanathan, co-ordinator of  I&E cell  shall teach the course. It would be apt to name the course as 'Basics of Innovation & Entrepreneurship'

3. Maximum of  200 students shall be taken in for the course during the semester. Every semester this course shall be offered

4. Since there are students from different branches, we planned to have the classes during 3 - 4 , where atleast students from few branches have a free period. It shall be a 30 hour course.

5.  A minimum of 60% is required to compplete the course successfully.

6.  Students shall be provided 3 credits for the course.

7.  Department Of Management Studies shall also be involved in teaching the course

8.  As a part of course, various activities related to innovation, few workshops need to be implemented.

9.  To make learning more interesting, students should be given more opportunities to share their ideas and knowledge.

10.  At the end of the course, students must be asked to identify a problem within their class and come up with the possible solutions and select the best one. This can be done by interaction with fellow students. Students can take help from the club coordinators regarding this aspect.

11.Instead of having a normal evaluation process that generally involves written tests, students can be assessed based on their performance regarding solving the problem that they have identified.

So we are planning to conduct a 3-5 day park in our campus. It means that all the projects related to every stream like computers, electronics, mechanical and many other branches can exhibit them in the park .Through this they will show all their ideas i.e. their projects and an invitation will be sent to other colleges and industries so that people come and see all the projects and buy them for the amount mentioned. Another outcome from this is, from college level itself a student can get the hope that they have done good projects and sold it for good amount which makes them get inspired to start a kind of business which in turn leads them towards entrepreneurship and finally can become entrepreneur.

In the process of completing the projects successfully students need the resources, money, guidance from I&E. So, I&E is planning to have the following resources

3. In a week’s time, students start working out on their projects.

To get all the students under an umbrella is the main aim. At present, students sit in the allotted classes according to their departments. Where they sit only with the peers in their department and they don’t have any kind of interaction with other department students, which is a major drawback for the student to do inter-disciplinary projects for upcoming years. So, here we came up with a solution to implement that, initially when students enter the college, instead of dividing them into different sections based on their branch, we shall divide them in a manner that ensures that a class contains students from various departments. In the class of 72 students, 12 students shall be from each department (total 6 departments). Taking the help from Mrs.Prathiba, Administration Officer and Mrs.Athar Sameena Khan, Student Welfare Officer, we finalize the division process. This shall be implemented for the next academic year (2017-18).

11.Instead of having a normal evaluation process that generally involves written tests, students can be assessed based on their performance regarding solving the problem that they have identified.

Collaboration between universities and industries is critical for skills development (education and training), the generation, acquisition, and adoption of knowledge (innovation and technology transfer), and the promotion of entrepreneurship (start-ups and spin-offs). The Industry-Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) of our college is a dedicated cell to promote the close interaction of industry and various departments of the institute. The IIIC Cell facilitates industrial and academic trainings those are not prescribed in the syllabus in addition to conducting industrial exhibitions and interaction meets. Industry Institute Partnership forms an important activity for any academic institute as its stakeholders interact with the real world. Firstly, the students are benefited due to exposure to current industry practices, challenges and needs and update their skills when changes occur in technology, teaching faculty get sensitized to the latest practices leading them to blend practice with usual theoretical teaching methods.
