= INTRODUCTION: =

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (University for Women)was founded in the year 1983 by SriN.T.Rama 

[[File:SPMVV.png]]Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, with the fervent desire to train women students as better builders of the Nation and to inculcate skills of leadership in all aspects of life.The University was established under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Act of 1983,which has come into force on the 14 of April 1983.It was started with ten faculties and 300 students and twenty staff members. Today the University has a student population nearly 4000 and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. This year the University has 59 courses at the post-graduate and undergraduate level and a good component of research. The campus of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is spread out in a lush green area of 138.43 acres. The University is situated at a distance of 3 km from the railway and bus stations of Tirupati.The campus has the necessary buildings to run its academic programmes and administrative machinery. There are separate buildings for Humanities and Sciences, University Administration, Central Library, University Auditorium, Sericulture Complex, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also an independent building for Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering College.

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is led by seasoned academicians, committed educationalists and value conscious. The complete layout of the campus, the academic ethos and the mindscape of life in the campus is well conceived, articulated and designed by faculty, administration.  The depth of infrastructure available and scope of the academic exposure provided in a well structured manner enables each and every student to pursue one’s academic goals in a stress free atmosphere. A committed faculty is on hand to guide and assist the students. All extraordinary streams are encouraged and ample opportunities are provided to help the students, so inclined, to grow in confidence and stature. This institution is truly a blend of various cultures and religions from both the Telugu speaking States. Today the University has a student population nearly 4000 and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. This year the University has 59 courses at the post-graduate and undergraduate level and a good component of research. The campus of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is spread out in a lush green area of 138.43 acres. The University is situated at a distance of 3 km from the railway and bus stations of Tirupati.The campus has the necessary buildings to run its academic programmes and administrative machinery. There are separate buildings for Humanities and Sciences, University Administration, Central Library, University Auditorium, Sericulture Complex, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also an independent building for Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering College.

Today the University has a student population nearly 4000 and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. This year the University has 59 courses at the post-graduate and undergraduate level and a good component of research. The campus of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is spread out in a lush green area of 138.43 acres. The University is situated at a distance of 3 km from the railway and bus stations of Tirupati.The campus has the necessary buildings to run its academic programmes and administrative machinery. I'm Mounika Arekapudi pursuing my engineering in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam.I'm an electronics student.Since childhood i always felt that [[File:Arekapudi.jpg|thumb|Arekapudi.jpg]]we have got a beautiful life and we need to do something for the society.This ideology of mine interested me to be a part of social activities.I work as a team leader in NSS(Nationl Service Scheme) organisation.Being a team leader, under my supervision my team held many compaigns,rallys,consultancy services,medical camps in villages etc,.Im also a member in ITECH club formed in our college.In this club we help our peers to think innovatively,encourage design thinking, entrepreneurship,problem solving techniques, inherenting communication skills.This is the main reason why i wanted to be a part of  UIF program.By utilizing this oppurtunity i want to improvise the acivities held in our college.

                                                                                                                                I love writing.I have already written a few poems and articles in my regional language i.e., telugu. Paleti Pavani is a university innovation fellow  and presently undergraduate student studying Electronics and  Communication  Engineering in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, School of  Engineering and Technology, Tirupati.She was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh she did her schooling in Nellore. She stood topper in her school.  She was very much focused in chess competition and other extra curricular activities.  She was School Pupil Leader during her studies in school.  She also participated in social service programmes like blood donation campaigns, collecting flood relief funds and also for orphanages*She is also very interested and participated in innovative quiz competitions. In her spare times, she used to make craft works with newspapers and other waste materials viz., re-cycling products. *She also participated and organised several cultural programmes  and technical events.She was interested in listening music.*Then she moved to Narayana Junior College and   has succeeded in her intermediate education by scoring good results in the stream of Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry in 2012*  Then she moved to Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, School of  Engineering and Technology, Tirupati in the year 2014 and pursuing her undergraduate engineering.My teammates in UIF are:-Vaddineni Roshini,Mounika Arekapudi and Bhavana Abburi

Paleti Pavani is a university innovation fellow  and presently undergraduate student studying Electronics and  Communication  Engineering in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, School of  Engineering and Technology, Tirupati.She was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh she did her schooling in Nellore. She stood topper in her school.  She was very much focused in chess competition and other extra curricular activities.  She was School Pupil Leader during her studies in school.  She also participated in social service programmes like blood donation campaigns, collecting flood relief funds and also for orphanages*She is also very interested and participated in innovative quiz competitions. In her spare times, she used to make craft works with newspapers and other waste materials viz., re-cycling products. *She also participated and organised several cultural programmes  and technical events.She was interested in listening music.*Then she moved to Narayana Junior College and   has succeeded in her intermediate education by scoring good results in the stream of Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry in 2012*  Then she moved to Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, School of  Engineering and Technology, Tirupati in the year 2014 and pursuing her undergraduate engineering.My teammates are:-Vaddineni Roshini,Mounika Arekapudi and Bhavana Abburi

She is originally from nellore in A.P, India, where she lived until 2007 when she moved to hyderabad and continued education for four years and return back to the same district .And there she completed her intermediate and got seat in Padmavathi University.There she served as a secretary of a ECE branch in her college.She also served as a class representative for a whole year and also consultant in the hostel management .She has been exposed to University Innovation Fellows in that college. From the younger age she is talented in different aspects like dance and sports.She has won some prizes from her school by participating in sports .She is a classical dancer.She has given some stage performances too and active participation in college activities. From the beginning she is very passionate about entrepreneurship.Through out the years she has given her dedication to get in to the best business schools and her aim is to get in the top most IIM's in India.She is much interested in making a change around people .This interest made her to participate in the debates or public speaking activities.Improvisation of her University is her present goal. == overview ==

The University was started with ten faculties and 300 students and twenty staff members. Today the University has a student population nearly 4000 and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. This year the University has 59 courses at the post-graduate and undergraduate level and a good component of research.

The campus has the necessary buildings to run its academic programmes and administrative machinery. There are separate buildings for Humanities and Sciences, University Administration, Central Library, University Auditorium, Sericulture Complex, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also an independent building for Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering College.

Recently 6 years back engineering department have been established and improved year by year and encouraged by university with the greatest support.University recently established different programmes based on the I&E program and encouraging students from different departments to join its new collaboration .

== Strategy #1:Increase awareness among students ==

To increase the awareness among students we need to organise different activities for every week upto a month so by that students get interacted with each other i.e students of different departments and blocks . After that we can organise various clubs  ,because of before conducted activities they would have got some keen idea about what is going around and they may have got a chance  to know and get into the world with some awareness and knowing.

Interactions between students also helps them for knowing different thoughts of various people.By this we can say that students get to share their thoughts with each other and also meet the different circumcumstances with different mindsets.

And there should be a blog created for students only to keep them connected and also to share the information what they got in their department about similar concepts they are aware of.

== Strategy #2:Increasing of industrial tours ==

This can be developed by making a person as a representative and every one to share their views as a group and their view about the best concept should be kept infront of a higher authority  by their selected representative with good reasons and examples for development by their practical exposure to the industries.And a very convincing person should be representing infront of higher authorities so that they could understand the importance.

The support from the management is also important so the industrial tour should be meaningful and the students should get the more benefit is to be under stood by the management.

== Strategy #3:Development in equipment and facilities ==
        Utilising the laboratory apparatus,quality college supplies and technical tools like computers e.t.c provides various benefits to students .Advanced laboratory instruments provide learners with more convinient means of conducting studies , testing theories and finding solutions to problems. Intresting technologies in the acadame also makes learning more enjoyable,interactive and fun.By this means of examples we can say that improvement in equipment benifits students.
== Strategy #4:Development of practical learning among students ==

Practical learning encompasses anything that helps someone master a skill or ability.There will be great satisfaction in being able to accomplish something.Practical learning can be improved in students by not only keeping students a simple tests theoritically but also by giving them some tasks to complete by experiencing them by only doing them and experience them .And the support from the faculty should always be present to their students in their practical tasks they are given and helpful for their doubts clarification and also for a simple help.Skills help them develop their practical learning so they should always be supportive and helpful in improvising their skills.

I'm Mounika Arekapudi pursuing my engineering in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam.I'm an electronics student.Since childhood i always felt that [[File:Arekapudi.jpg|thumb]]we have got a beautiful life and we need to do something for the society.This ideology of mine interested me to be a part of social activities.I work as a team leader in NSS(Nationl Service Scheme) organisation.Being a team leader, under my supervision my team held many compaigns,rallys,consultancy services,medical camps in villages etc,.Im also a member in ITECH club formed in our college.In this club we help our peers to think innovatively,encourage design thinking, entrepreneurship,problem solving techniques, inherenting communication skills.This is the main reason why i wanted to be a part of  UIF program.By utilizing this oppurtunity i want to improvise the acivities held in our college.

                                                                                                                                I love writing.I have already written a few poems and articles in my regional language i.e., telugu. I have also written a few journals,which were published in my regional newspapers.Travelling fascinates me.It helps me to explore many things like people,traditions,culture,cuisines,relations,living and also myself.It helps me to become a better person.My only wish is to travel every nook and corner of the world.
