I am Joseph Shelton, a native to Virginia, spent the last 7 years of my life in Greensboro, NC attending school. Obtained both my Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science at NC A&T, and am currently working on my Ph.D. I like programming, solving puzzles and playing devil's advocate. I'm mainly interested in hearing from others outside of my own boundaries just out of curiosity. I consider myself to be playful, off-color and goofy.

I am currently working as a Research Assistant at North Carolina A&T and have done so for the last three years. I have helped publish a book chapter in ‘New Trends and Developments in Biometrics’ titled ‘Genetic and Evolutionary Biometrics’ and have published over 20 articles in the field of biometrics and genetic & evolutionary computations. My research interests include biometrics, cyber security and evolutionary computation.

= Impact Achieved For Students and Campus =

*Bottom line: Venture for America is a strong training program for graduating students who want to get into business creation and also helps revitalize our economy. Todays VFA partnerships are over 50% non-technical, so it does not limit any candidates from applying (in some ways, the fellowship seeks to open doors particularly for these students). Therefore, Venture for America's resources would be best used on a campus looking to: (''a) ''give benevolent entrepreneurial students a new outlet for post-graduation plans''''', ('''b'')''' '''create a role-model/success story, ''(c)'' build support for this lifestyle as a career path.
*By advertising Venture for America as a prestigious scholarship/fellows program, a campus ambassador could build a long-term vision in students from varying degree paths and eventually place high achieving students in the program.

The design of the archive is based on feedback from entrepreneurship educators regarding the challenges faced when teaching entrepreneurship to students of all majors and disciplines (e.g., engineers and scientists).

The project has three major efforts:

*To encourage faculty to think about how entrepreneurship should be taught to all students.
*To prepare educational resources from the high-technology industry for access and reuse by others.
*To develop an archive of digital resources, and thereby provide access to a network of resources for entrepreneurship educators.

This program offers connection to Stanford's resources and pooled resources for entrepreneurship

= Steps Required To Bring Resource to Campus =

#Become a VFA campus ambassador. Send resume and cover letter to jobs@ventureforamerica.org, titled "Application for Campus Ambassador - [your name]." For more information see: [http://ventureforamerica.org/jobs/&nbsp http://ventureforamerica.org/jobs/].
