I would love to start a student consulting organization at my university to help and guide students who are interested in creating their own products or organizations. I feel that many college students don't know how to start a company or product in college, so they believe they need to wait to start one after college - but student consulting teams would help with that.

==Bio==
Khushi Basnyat is an undergraduate student at the University of Richmond. She is currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Consulting and minoring in Rhetoric and Communication Studies.

Khushi is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Nepal, and moved to the U.S. at a young age. Since then, she has lived in five states all around the U.S. which has fostered her love of traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different communities.

During high school, she discovered her passion for community service and advocacy work through leadership positions in Key Club and United Nation’s Girl Up. She encouraged her peers to get more involved through community service. She also brought to light issues that women all over the world are facing, such as a lack of educational opportunities for girls in many developing countries. An experience that is memorable to Khushi is when she organized a donation drive for mothers in need, resulting in hundreds of contributions.

This led to her passion for social justice issues, specifically centered around racial and gender inequality. She aspires to become an attorney to be a voice for historically underrepresented communities. At the University of Richmond, Khushi is the Vice President of Advocacy for Planned Parenthood Generation Action, an organization focused on protecting the health and reproductive rights of women. She is also a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, in which she serves as a “big sister” to a child in need. Khushi is also on the executive board for Women for Nepal, an organization that strives to bridge the educational disparities gap for Nepalese women.

At college, Khushi works as a Technology Assistant for professors, helping them manage blended in-person and remote classrooms amidst COVID-19. Through this position, she hopes to alleviate stress during a tense period for all university members.

Khushi hopes to use the skills and connections built through UIF to make campus a more inclusive environment for students of color.

==Achievements==
Khushi worked as a research assistant for the Women's Institute for Science, Equity, and Race ([https://www.wiserpolicy.org/#Work WISER]). She researched and wrote publications about the healthcare of immigrant Hispanic women, the impact of COVID-19 on refugee resettlement, and the recent 2020 Title IX changes.

From 2015-2019, Khushi was involved in Health Occupation Students of America, in which she received multiple district and state-level awards in researched persuasive writing and speaking.
==Bio==

==Achievements==
Khushi worked as a research assistant for the Women's Institute for Science, Equity, and Race ([https://www.wiserpolicy.org/#Work WISER]).

==Achievements==
Khushi worked as a research assistant for the Women's Institute for Science, Equity, and Race ([https://www.wiserpolicy.org/#Work WISER]).
