My name is JaMya Peoples, and I’m a junior at MVSU. I’m majoring in biology with a math minor, and I serve as a STRADA scholar here on campus. I’ve also recently been elected as Student Government Association  Vice President  and WIST (Women in Science and Technology) President for the upcoming school year. I also am apart of the HBCU DLI (Digital Learning Infrastructure) Student Advisory Council. I am also apart of the SouthMed Prep Scholars early medical school program, and just recently completed an eight-week summer component for the program.&lt;br /&gt;
