Upon reading the challenges, I thought that more engineering students at UMass Lowell need to be aware of the challenges identified. My idea is that some type of program is put in place that introduces students to these challenges, and gives them the opportunity to work with their peers to find solutions to them. They have been identified as the 14 Grand Challenges for Engineers for a reason, and I think that it is important for them to be a part of our education. Trying to solve these problems will not only give us experience in real world challenges, but could lead to solutions in the long run.&lt;/span&gt;</div>
