= DANIEL DIMITROV   =

Daniel Dimitrov is a University Innovation Fellow and a student in the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He is studying Business Administration in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA). Daniel was born in Targovishte (Bulgaria), where he lived until 2016 when he moved to Sofia (Bulgaria) and started his journey at the university.  During his first year there, he became a member of a student organization called Business Club. The club's main goal is to bring the students and the businesses closer while having fun. Daniel met fresh, young people who had the same desire to work on the projects as he had. Now Daniel is in his third year at the University and in Business club and he is in charge of many projects and is trying to engage the younger students to be active as well.  Daniel has been interested in entrepreneurship since very young age. The main reason is that his parents have their own business which has helped him become familiar with a lot of things in the business world. Sports have always been a part of Daniel's life. He has trained Tennis and Football and practiced Mountain Biking for years.

<h1> DANIEL DIMITROV   </h1>
Daniel Dimitrov is a University Innovation Fellow and a student in the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". Our goal is to create a web based platform & mobile app which helps professors communicate in a more effective way with their students. Two members of our team are developers and they have already written the first lines of the code. We also spoke with some of the teachers that told us that they are going to experiment with our tools. The member of our team in charge of this project is''Iliya Dechkov.''

*Meet all of the teachers and introduce our idea to them in order to validate it. 
*Develop the MVP of the web platform. 
*Experiment with volunteering professors and take their feedback. 
*Develop the mobile application.
*Integrate the platform in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
*Integrate the platform in the whole Sofia University. 
*Try to integrate the platform in other educational institutions

 Based on the experience of the developers in our team, our predictions are that it is possible to finish the platform in 2-3 months. Soon after  that, we will start using it in the faculty and hopefully in the whole University by the end of the academic year.

   We found out that in our university there is not an entrepreneurship club, but it is needed. A lot of students from all of the faculties want to start their own businesses but dont have an idea to work on. On the contrary, there are other students who have the idea but lack the knowlege to bring it to life. This is the main problem that this club will solve. It will bring together different people, with different backgrounds to accomplish the same goal - create something new and exciting. The Team member who is going to be in charge od this project is ''Daniel Dimitrov''.

We believe that when it comes to encouraging and innovation it all comes down to the faculty members and the students. On the one side, the faculty members are supposed to encourage the students to be more innovative and to use innovative methods of teaching themselves. On the other hand, no matter how hard the faculty members are trying, if the students are not open to different, innovative ideas, then there is not much that the teacher can do. In the case of Sofia University, there are a lot of faculty members that are great professionals and they are doing a great job in encouraging the students to be innovative. The students themselves are mostly open-minded which leads to a overall very good atmosphere around the campus.

In the Sofia University the promotion of student inovation and etrepreneurship comes from both the university in terms of entrepreneurship classes, lectures and projects, and from the students themselves. There are many students organizations and clubs (Business club, Club Spectrum, Debate club) in the campus, trying to encourage the students to create things, to organise events etc. 

For example,'''Business club''' is a student organization from the faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The members of the club are able to participate in a wide variaty of projects that aim to improve the atmosphere in the faculty and to bring the students closer to business people. For the last year, Business club has successfully completed the creation of a '''Relax Room''' in the daculty, has created an '''Escape Room''' for the students of the university, has launched series of events called '''FEBA Talks '''where successful business people held lectures in front of the students for free. By participating in those projects, the students recieve vital experience and have the opportunity to create important relationships with people from the business world and most importantly between themselves.

Sofia university is also a part of the'''Erasmus for young entrepreneurs''' program, offers '''Social Entrepreneurship''' classes as well as '''Entrepreneurship and Innovations''' class.
