Hi there!
My name is Chloe McCauley, my passions and actions define me. My ambitions and optimism are my greatest qualities as a leader, they allow me to see the beauty in all my experiences, and in others. My ambitions are where my greatest motivations and my drivenness derive from. My desire for organization and efficiency create a functional environment. My empathy, exuberance, and creativity, along with my aspirations to form connections equip me to serve others - and the greater good.

As a current student at Baylor University, I am attaining a Bachelor in Fine Art, along with a Bachelor inArt, double majoring in French and Art. I am a student in the Honors College, Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, Treasurer of the French Club, along with Vice President of Baylor's Chapter International Justice Mission.

My mission is to be a voice for those who go unheard. I’m deeply passionate about tackling unethical production of consumer goods, and rampant overconsumption that harms people and our planet. I advocate for victims of sex trafficking, forced labor, and modern slavery, recognizing how overconsumption and unethical production fuels corrupt labor conditions worldwide. Many consumers are unaware or indifferent to the ethical implications of their purchases, prioritizing convenience and cost over sustainability and fair production practices. Raising awareness and promoting responsible consumption, I strive to enlighten others of their impactful choices on the planet, encouraging conscious consumption and ethical responsibility, creating a just and sustainable world.

To align with these interests, I am Vice President of Baylor University's International Justice Mission chapter. As the VP of Fundraising I organize Threads, a pop up thrift store on Baylor's campus. All clothing was donated by the community and 100% of the proceeds went towards the cause of ending modern day slavery.

My role as VP of Fundraising is to lead the preparation and execution of this event. Overall, we spend roughly 6 months preparing for Threads - this included marketing, collecting donations, sorting and organizing our six storage units full of clothing, gaining small business and campus support for our more logistical needs, and of course, pulling off the event day of.

My vision is a future rooted in sustainability, justice, and compassion. A world where recycling and responsible practices protect our planet, where human trafficking is eradicated through awareness and advocacy, and where communities thrive in harmony with one another and the environment.

When I am not studying, I spend my time creating, working with my organization, dreaming, reading, and growing into the best version of myself. I love learning languages, traveling, and running. Last year, my friend and I ran our first half-marathon, in which we only plan to improve each year!
