==Bio==

Caitlyn Schuette is an undergraduate student studying Chemical Engineering at Bucknell University in addition to currently being a candidate for the University Innovation Fellows program. She is someone who is passionate about finding ways to improve her school and her community using her creativity and problem solving skills.

At Bucknell, Caitlyn is the president of the Society of Women Engineers as well as a member of the Engineering Student Board, a group that works with administration and alumni to enhance students' experiences in Bucknell's College of Engineering. Through her work in both these groups she was able to design an event in 2020 that brought over 40 Girl Scouts to Bucknell's campus to gain more exposure to engineering. She also serves in several mentoring roles through her work as a Junior Fellow, an upperclassmen student who plans community events for first year students in the residential college program, and as a Garman Guide, an upperclassmen mentor to first year engineering students. Outside of academics, she enjoys participating in and choreographing for Bucknell's dance showcase and is pursuing a dance minor in addition to her engineering degree.

Through the University Innovations Fellows program, Caitlyn is hoping to find new ways to enhance Bucknell's educational experiences. She also hopes to work to expose more student to ideas about innovation and design, promoting the idea that anyone can come up with ways to change the world.

A student on the Dean's List is one who has "successfully complete no less than 3.0 course credits during the semester and who earn a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher". I was awarded this in the fall of 2018, the fall and spring of 2019, and the spring of 2020.

===Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society Member===
2018 - Present

An ALD National Honor Society Member is someone who has had "superior academic achievement during their first semester in college" by achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher and ranking in the top 20% of their class. I was inducted into this honor society at the end of my first semester and have continued to be a participant.
