==Bio==
Carla Isabel Rojas Arana identifies with she/they pronouns. She is 23 years old and was born on September 30th, 1997 in Lima, Peru. To date, she lives in her home town Lima. Regarding her studies, she is a bachelor of Professional Interior Design from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She is always looking for challenges to grow personally and professionally. She likes to be the one who leads the team and enhances the skills that each person has. She’s creative and likes to propose innovative solutions.
Her hobbies are photography, doing research about comprehensive sex education, the LGBTQIA+ community, mental health, and all kind of arts. As well she has entrepreneurship in jewelry design. Her interests are discovering new cultures, having crazy adventures, meeting people by traveling all around the world, and seeing all kinds of perspectives of life.
She currently participates in two volunteers. In one, she teaches “creative writing” classes to children of 9 years old. In the other, she is a volunteer in “Generación Igual” from Panama that seeks to promote social change and generate a community for LGBTQIA + youth. As a volunteer, she helps generate content and does the graphic design for the NGO. As well, she is a freelance in Interior Design and she is developing a pilot project about teaching comprehensive sex education to children and teenagers through playing.

==Achievements==
Just as she loves education, she loves to travel and meet new people with different idiosyncrasy from what she is used to.
When she was sixteen years old, she won an international scholarship called “Ruta Quetzal BBVA 2014” where she was able to be part of an expedition in Spain and Peru. Ruta BBVA is a study and adventure program created in 1979 by His Majesty the King of Spain, with the aim of consolidating the foundations of the Ibero-American Community of Nations among young people. When she was in college, 21 years old, she was accepted by Thomas More University in Belgium to go there and study for a semester.

She is committed to the education of children from Peru and the world. This is why she has participated three times in national contests about education. In 2020, she won "28h Global 2020" from UPC of Peru. It is a marathon for creating a solution for digital education with the project “EduSex” about teaching comprehensive sex education through gamification to children and teenagers. As well, she won an international contest called “DigiEduHack 2020” from Aalto University of Finland. This marathon was also about creating innovative solutions related to education. Therefore, she presented an improved version of the “EduSex” project with the intention of making it real.

We start doing this question to students: Have you ever had the necessity to find other sudents with the same goals than you? or perhaps you wanted to talk to someone about an specific knowledge they have? And this is what they say:

*"It will be awesome if we can see each other profile".
*"Here we can find anything, we can connect with students for a job application for example or even just to make them questions so we can learn more".

There is where we detected an opportunity, the "ahá moment".

We find that many students don't have opportunities to be an intern in companies because they don't have previous experiences. For that reason, the idea is about creating a platform where students can share their projects that usually have to work in many courses, with companies. The projects have to be focused on innovation and entrepreneurship issues because these areas are branches that allow a greater transformation and problem solutions.

Emprende Aprendiendo is a boothcamp for entrepreneurs. It is an space created to help entrepreneur students to make their dreams come true. We bring them programs, coaching, courses, mentorship and the tools they might need to their first steps in the world of entrepreneurship. We found out that some of the core problems student have are:

- Not having the neccesary tools for their projects.
- They need a mentor that guides them.
- They havent found any partner yet, someone they share the same vision with.
- They dont hace knowledge on methodologies nor business administration.

Thats why we created this program, in order to help them build their own business ideas and test them on the market. We focus on digital businesses and thats why the main goal o this program is for them to know 3 main things: how to create successfull digital marketing strategies, sales funnels and digital ads campaigns. The idea is that they will leave the boothcamp with a project going on.

We bring them programs, coaching, courses, mentorship and the tools they might need to their first steps in the world of entrepreneurship. We found out that some of the core problems student have are:

- Not having the neccesary tools for their projects.
- They need a mentor that guides them.
- They havent found any partner yet, someone they share the same vision with.
- They dont hace knowledge on methodologies nor business administration.

Thats why we created this program, in order to help them build their own business ideas and test them on the market. We focus on digital businesses and thats why the main goal o this program is for them to know 3 main things: how to create successfull digital marketing strategies, sales funnels and digital ads campaigns. The idea is that they will leave the boothcamp with a project going on.

There is a need on students to make real connections with other students, and for "real" I mean that the connection will have a I&E purpose.
 
So the best way we represent this was using "Discord", a virtual space where you find all kind of "rooms" so you can find other people, this could work like the "tinder on campus for I&E things" Here a pic we use for testing:

We start doing this question to students: Have you ever had the necessity to find other sudents with the same goals than you? or perhaps you wanted to talk to someone about an specific knowledge they have? And this is what they say:
* "I will like to find here a partner for my next start up".
* "It will be awesome if we can see each other profile".
* "Here we can find anything, we can connect with students for a job application for example or even just to make them questions so we can learn more".

There is where we detected an opportunity, the "ahá moment".
 
The name of this space is "CONECTA UPC", and will allow students to make real connection on campus, or even virtually.

We find that many students don't have opportunities to be an intern in companies because they don't have previous experiences. For that reason, the idea is about to create a platform where students can share their projects that usually have to work in many courses, with companies. The projects have to be focused on innovation and entrepreneurship issues, because these areas are branches that allow a greater transformation and problem solutions.

It is time to make a change in the academic curriculum. When we decide to study it is our choice (most of the time) and we should be the ones who decide which path we are going to take.

We didn't decide where we were born, but now we can decide where we want to study. With '''"United UPC"''' even though you are studying at UPC in Lima, Peru; you can choose 40% of your online classes from the best universities in the world and the other 60% would be at your campus. == Strategy 4: Emprende Aprendiendo UPC ==

Emprende Aprendiendo is a boothcamp for entrepreneurs. It is an space created to help entrepreneur students to make their dreams come true. We bring them programs, coaching, courses, mentorship and the tools they might need to their first steps in the world of entrepreneurship. We found out that some of the core problems student have are:

- Not having the neccesary tools for their projects.
- They need a mentor that guides them.
- They havent found any partner yet, someone they share the same vision with.
- They dont hace knowledge on methodologies nor business administration.

Thats why we created this program, in order to help them build their own business ideas and test them on the market. We focus on digital businesses and thats why the main goal o this program is for them to know 3 main things: how to create successfull digital marketing strategies, sales funnels and digital ads campaigns. The idea is that they will leave the boothcamp with a project going on.

==Bio==
Carla Isabel Rojas Arana identifies with she/they pronouns. She is 23 years old and was born on September 30th, 1997 in Lima, Peru. To date, she lives in her home town Lima. Regarding her studies, she is a graduate of Professional Interior Design from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She is always looking for challenges to grow personally and professionally. She likes to be the one who leads the team and enhances the skills that each person has. She’s creative and likes to propose innovative solutions.
Her hobbies are photography, doing research about comprehensive sex education, the LGBTQIA+ community, mental health, and all kind of arts. As well she has entrepreneurship in jewelry design. Her interests are discovering new cultures, having crazy adventures, meeting people by traveling all around the world, and seeing all kinds of perspectives of life.
She currently participates in two volunteers. In one, she teaches “creative writing” classes to children of 9 years old. In the other, she is a volunteer in “Generación Igual” from Panama that seeks to promote social change and generate a community for LGBTQIA + youth. As a volunteer, she helps generate content and does the graphic design for the NGO. As well, she is a freelance in Interior Design and she is developing a pilot project about teaching comprehensive sex education to children and teenagers through playing.

==Achievements==
Just as she loves education, she loves to travel and meet new people with different idiosyncrasy from what she is used to.
When she was sixteen years old, she won an international scholarship called “Ruta Quetzal BBVA 2014” where she was able to be part of an expedition in Spain and Peru. Ruta BBVA is a study and adventure program created in 1979 by His Majesty the King of Spain, with the aim of consolidating the foundations of the Ibero-American Community of Nations among young people. When she was in college, 21 years old, she was accepted by Thomas More University in Belgium to go there and study for a semester.

She is committed to the education of children from Peru and the world. This is why she has participated three times in national contests about education. In 2020, she won "28h Global 2020" from UPC of Peru. It is a marathon for creating a solution for digital education with the project “EduSex” about teaching comprehensive sex education through gamification to children and teenagers. As well, she won an international contest called “DigiEduHack 2020” from Aalto University of Finland. This marathon was also about creating innovative solutions related to education. Therefore, she presented an improved version of the “EduSex” project with the intention of making it real.

==Bio==
Lucía Gabriela Corilla Grados is student of the last year of the Communication and Advertising career at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She lives in Lima, the capital of Peru, with her mom, dad, uncle and grandmother.

She has had the opportunity to be a Marketing Intern in the health and education field for approximately 2 years. Empathy, interpersonal communication and creativity are the skills that sand out, therefore, it has motivated her to participate in different innovation competitions, winning together with her team, the DigiEduHack hackathon promoted by the European Commission, with a proposal for an application for children and teenagers about CSE.

In her free time she likes to dance, Lucía has been taking dance classes since she was 12 years old, especially urban dance and hip hop. She likes doing sports and stretching classes. In addition, she has a fondness for psychological thriller movies and series.

Lucía is very interested in contributing to improve education, the environment or the treatment of animals. She spent 2 years as a volunteer teacher in a school in a vulnerable area of Peru teaching mathematics, drawing, painting and dancing to first graders, in order for them to discover their skills and begin to build their dreams.

Now, Lucía is very excited to be part of the UIF program because it will allow her to meet many people around the world, as well as grow personally and professionally.

==Bio==
Nidia, or you can call her Nids, is 23 years old, from Lima - Peru.

She trully believes on the power of the self knowledge and mental health, she always says that when you start looking what is going on on the inside, you can make magic happen on the outside. That is how she achieved many things she really wanted in her life, of course nothing was easy, but when you have yourself by your side you become unstoppable, and that is why she get a bike tattoo, because she learned how to ride a bike at 19 years old, it was an incredible challenge for her, so it becomes like her totem

Speaking of the academic stuff, she is an UX designer, by studying something very different: communications and advertising, in the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, she knew this carreer will give her the tools to find the place where she wanted to be when finishing college.

Outside the field of studies, as she consider her mental health not negotiable, she likes to work out at very early in the morning, so yes, she is a morning person, means that probably at 10 pm you won´t find her on social media because she is getting ready to go to sleep. During the day you will find her always with a bottle of water because that is all she drinks all day, #funfact: she doesn´t like coffee or any kind of soda. But this doesn´t means she is 24/7 fit, she enjoys cakes, cookies, ice creams and all kind of sweet food.

Since april 2021 she was dabbling in theatrical improvisation, and she is going to have a show, which is going to be the unique one because after that she will keep trying all kind of activities, the next one is singing lessons, because she is tired of be ashamed when she sing at karaokes. Also in august 2021 she started a volunteering with entrepreneurs from her countrie, so she have two persons to mentor to make their business grow.

==Achievements==
As she finds a few years ago the power of the self knowledge and mental health, she wanted to share this information to others, and why not in the field of comprehensive sex education, because is something people never learn in Peru at schools, and make them miss the chance to learn basic stuff as self love, self-esteem, limits, diversity etc. So she take part on the "[https://innovacioneducativa.upc.edu.pe/28h2020/ 28h Global 2020]" from UPC of Peru, with a solution of comprehensive sex education, and she won with her team, which lead them to an international contest “[https://digieduhack.com/en/stories-insights/2020-global-award-winners DigiEduHack 2020]” from Aalto University of Finland, where she also won. So this make her, and her friend [[Fellow:Carla Rojas|Carla Rojas]] keep bulding this solution to make it real sometime in the near future in her countrie, Peru

Sergio Manuel Farfan Mendoza (born in January 03, 1997), also known as Gio, is a '''Peruvian entrepreneur, marketing consultant, podcaster and speaker'''. Gio is co-founder of '''Rebels 24/7''', a digital marketing agency specialized on sales funnels and social media ads. Aside from his digital agency work, he is also co-founder of '''Rebeldes Digitales''', a podcast about business, digital marketing and entrepreneurship.

He and his team Believe participated and won the '''DigiEduHack''', an international hackaton promoted by the European Commission. His team created the prototype version of a decision making game app called Edusex with the intention of making sex education available and accesible for everyone. Gio was in charge of co-creating Edusex, co-writting the script and editing the pitch-video that helped on the promotion of Edusex into the competition. Time after winning the DigiEduHack, he decided to take a different path from the Edusex project in order to follow his own motivations and passions.

The last years he has been investing on '''cryptocurrency, stocks and different business opportunities'''. Carla Isabel Rojas Arana identifies with she/they pronouns. She is 23 years old and was born on September 30th, 1997 in Lima, Peru. To date, she lives in her home town Lima. Regarding her studies, she is a graduate of Professional Interior Design from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She is always looking for challenges to grow personally and professionally. She likes to be the one who leads the team and enhances the skills that each person has. She’s creative and likes to propose innovative solutions.
Her hobbies are photography, doing research about comprehensive sex education, the LGBTQIA+ community, mental health, and all kind of arts. As well she has entrepreneurship in jewelry design. Ruta BBVA is a study and adventure program created in 1979 by His Majesty the King of Spain, with the aim of consolidating the foundations of the Ibero-American Community of Nations among young people. When she was in college, 21 years old, she was accepted by Thomas More University in Belgium to go there and study for a semester.

She is committed to the education of children from Peru and the world. This is why she has participated three times in national contests about education. In 2020, she won "28h Global 2020" from UPC of Peru. It is a marathon for creating a solution for digital education with the project “EduSex” about teaching comprehensive sex education through gamification to children and teenagers.
