 <span style="font-size:medium;">NEC Supports students with its available resources that inclines students’ ability to improve Entrepreneurship. Students here find encouragement from their faculty to cook their innovative ideas. From this college, three start-ups are present trending in India. Here,If the student has an idea, Management acts as sponsors and faculty have the role of mentors. This college get funding for Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Microsoft, Global Incubation Centre. In addition to I&E it encourages R&D. Computer Science and Engineering Department, ECE Department has created R&D centres for perusing research and development. Recently, a girl named Rajitha has created a record by designing 101 websites in 40 days. Now she is an entrepreneur. HASHPRO,DIGIDOCS,BOOKBUDDIES are some of the start-ups which sprouted from NEC. Recently it conducted an event THE FOUNDERS CONCLAVE to accelerate student ideas.</span>

<span style="font-size:medium;">Nec is a kind of Engineering college which not only encourages Students but also staff towards Entrepreneurship. It conduct frequent classes for faculty on present technologies. So that they will guide the students towards their project. At Incubation Centre, faculty guide students to show them a path which results in a start-up. Through THE FOUNDERS CONCLAVE , students share their innovative thoughts. While faculty are involved in a subject , they mainly focus on how and why rather than what. This makes the student to think more innovatively. Also, through Microsoft Innovation centre, they enhance the students’ ideology.</span>

It has close collaboration with Microsoft, Glenwood micro systems private ltd. Gayathri Educational Development is the major source of capital for this college. Microsoft has established a lab called, Microsoft Innovation Centre to enhance the I&E skills in students.GBI and APSSDC are also the minor source of funds for this college.</span>

Jagriti yatra is an ambitious '''train journey''' of '''discovery''' and '''transformation.'''  It takes hundreds of India’s highly motivated youth, especially those who are from small towns and villages of India.  This is a '''15-day long''', national train journey that will take you '''8000 kilometers''' across the  India, to understand and build the India of smaller towns and villages through enterprise.

The vision and goal of Jagriti yatra is '''creating awareness''' and to start a movement of ''''Building India through Enterprise''''. Jagriti Yatra aims to nurture 1 Lakh (1,00,000) entrepreneurs by 2022 and create 10 Lakh (10,00,000) jobs in this process.

Jagriti Yatra is not like all the other programs in which the applicants will be selected on the criteria of marks rather it considers motivations and values of the candidate. They consider the candidate’s ability to think creatively, their understanding of India’s pressing problems, and the commitment and approach to solving these.  The Yatra also seeks  not only the entrepreneurs but also empower individuals who wish to build India through their professions and work spheres. They will definitely provide you to meet atleast a role model in each destination of their journey.  The male and female yatris will be provided with 2 compartments separately in the train which is rebuilt according to their convinience where they need to stay for 15 days.  This yatra is the safest one as two fully qualified doctors also accompany with them. Meals may be distributed in packets at destinations after deboarding the train. Bottled water is also provided through regular distribution of water. No outside food is allowed on the train due to risk of food poisoning. On considering all the above factors we can say that Jagriti Yatra definitely differs from others in almost all the aspects.
