Mechanical Engineering when he transfers to Texas Tech University in the fall of 2017. Timmy is originally from Seminole, TX, where he lived until 2014, when he moved to Lubbock, TX after his wife was transferred there for her job. After spending nearly a year at a job that he did not enjoy, he decided it was time to go back to school to pursue a career in a field he was passionate about. That is when he enrolled at SPC, and began to make that dream a reality.

At SPC, Timmy is the vice president of Students Entrepreneurs After Real Change (SEARCh), and a member of Pay It Forward. Along with being a full time student, Timmy is married to his high school sweetheart. In his free time, Timmy is an avid outdoorsman. He loves to hike, hunt, fish, play sports, and take his 10 year old Staffordshire Terrier for walks.

Timmy has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. At the age of 9 he started a small summer business, fixing flat tires and broken chains on bicycles for children in his neighborhood. Since most fathers were gone at work all day, mothers were willing to pay a little money to get their children’s bicycles working again, to get them out of the house. This small “summer job” earned Timmy over $300, and helped to pay for new school supplies for himself and his five siblings. Timmy is excited to learn more about innovation and entrepreneurship, and to continue to grow so that he can help spread that knowledge on campus and everywhere else.
